Bulldog Steel Products' water ground storage tanks are designed and built in accordance with AWWA D100. We commonly erect ground storage tanks up to 500,000 gallon capacity.
We are able to shop build and deliver tanks anywhere in the US up to 35,000 gallon capacity. Tanks over 15'-6" diameter or taller than 25' must be erected on site. Currently we only provide field erected ground storage tanks to job sites located within the states of Texas and Mississippi.

Standard roofs for tanks up to 40' diameter are generally a self-supporting cone with no support structure required. Self-supporting roofs are designed per API-650. Larger cone roofs require a support structure which will be designed in accordance with the American Institute of Steel Construction guidelines. Self-supporting umbrella roofs and knuckled roofs with a coned center section are alternatives. (Roof structure shown to the left is an umbrella roof, plus top ring. We typically build the roof structure first, move it to the side while building the rest of the tank, and then set the roof as the last step of construction.) |

We are capable of blasting and painting (in the field or shop) to meet AWWA D102, NSF61, and SSPC requirements.
We work closely with pump station contractors and can provide the services and coordination for site preparation, foundation, electrical, piping hookup and connections to meet individual customer's needs.
