This 290 psi pressure vessel has an exterior coating of Rhino Liner - unusual for a pressure vessel around much of the US, but this vessel is being buried due to the extreme temperatures. However... this tank reminded me of some tanks that we built a number of years ago for San Antonio, TX. They had noticed an extreme amount of condensation from the air conditioners of some of the schools. San Antonio is one of the best water conservation locations in the nation, and they had an idea to pipe that condensation to pressure vessels (that we built and they buried) and use the water for irrigation. What a great idea!

An engineer asked us to show an example of an umbrella roof for a job he was designing. We built this one two years ago - before we had a drone to take this kind of footage. So I went back and got some video of this 310k gallon Ground Storage Tank. The roof looks great! Richard felt nostalgic today, and wrote (inside a pressure vessel can) the history of Bulldog Steel that he could remember during the... THIRTY SEVEN years of working here. There was a break in that time, but as of today, he has been here 29 consecutive years! Quality people make Bulldog Steel a quality company, and Richard continues to be a big part of Bulldog. Thanks for everything, Richard!
I had a perfect day to photograph this water storage tank. Below the HD video, I've included all of the still shots, including some taken during construction. We do some bigger tanks. We do some smaller tanks. But we don't often do any LONGER tanks! (Not that we can't....)
